This lovely necklace features larimar chips, moonstone rondelles, sterling silver spacers, and a goddess focal carved out of buffalo bone.
Like everything I make, this piece is made with love and infused with Reiki. It would make a lovely set of unconventional prayer beads.
The approximate length of this piece is 20 1/2". The black bust has a neck with a 11 1/4" circumference; the artist's neck, also pictured, is 17 1/2".
Remember to leave a little bit of wiggle room for your comfort and the size of the beads. If needed, there are extender chains in the add-on section of my shop. I can also create a custom-sized piece for you in many cases.
The crimp beads, pendant bail, and spacers are sterling silver. All other metal components are hypoallergenic, high quality stainless steel.
Everything is strung on sturdy, flexible, nylon-coated 49-strand stainless steel beading wire.
Metaphysical Properties
Moonstone was used by ancient people in love spells and to divine the future. It is universally recognized as having a connection to the moon and the divine feminine. Use it to enhance intuition and soothe anxiety. Like pearl, moonstone is graceful and strong, while being quite beautiful as well. It can be used to make a talisman for connecting with water. Use moonstone to aid in relief of symptoms related to hormonal issues. Moonstone is used to balance the third eye and solar plexus chakras, and is a June birthstone. Use it to help you find luck in a new beginning, or to enhance creative inspiration.
Larimar is said to bring enlightenment; to balance the heart, throat, third eye and crown chakras; and to foster wisdom and aid in manifestation. May help with clarity in a confusing situation, impart healing energy, aid in communication, and help release stress
Silver increases perception and balances emotion. It enhances the moon's energy and can be helpful in energizing other minerals during full and new moons. The color silver is often associated with goddesses, the moon, psychic development, fluidity, insight, reflection and money.
